This is an article I had floating in the back of my head for months at this point, but I’ve only seriously considered writing this for maybe an hour before doing it. To me, this “Golden Age” I’m speaking of starts with the meteoric rise of Kazuchika Okada (starting at this match) and stretches to (at the time of writing this) the present.
